Weirdest part of the farmer inheritance tax protests is the way they all dress.

I grew up in the countryside amongst kids from farming families and nobody wore Barbour, tweed and a flatcap before about 2010. It's become a cultural signifier for social media despite no basis in reality or tradition

I'm always curious about how regularly these people fighting about trans people in sport actually attend women's sport games. I'm pretty sure the players are more concerned with the lack of investment and facilities for women than they are about culture war issues.
