I used some painter knifes (particularly 3, 4, 5), the iFixit picks, a flathead screwdriver, and a hair dryer (don't have a hot air station). The GPU just did not want to release, so after copious amounts of heat, using the pick to protect the GPU, I just used the flathead to gently pry the IHS off.
