This map genuinely helped my partner and I choose a hotel, it's a silly example of using your own data, even if it's silly data, to make decisions.

I think it gives an indication of the distribution in the measured data? It was a fun aside at the end of the week, anyway!

This chart looks at microplastics in seafloor sediments. I chose the blue/green from a photo of the North Sea, and the red & yellow from items on that boat that might, one day, become microplastics. I then wanted to make them look more like bubbles, but D3 is brutal and it's Friday 🥱 #datavis

I’m kinda pleased I chose triangle shapes for untimed events, I remember wanting the frequency to be clear. Not the most successful, but hey, it’s a start.

I wanted to see what that would look like as 100 little people. I usually work in Javascript, but quickly bashed this together in Powerpoint 'just to see'. It's a very sad piece of data.
