The saying “politics makes strange bedfellows” was first written in the 1800s and has been repeated often since for a good reason. As human beings, we (mostly) all have more in common than not. When the political deck gets cut just right, that human connection is visible, however briefly.

I know an older woman who has literally no income. She was the primary caregiver for her mother, so doesn't qualify for Social Security, so she frequently needs help. I'll be sending this to her. Thank you for posting it.
