While I haven't gotten a chance to try out Hades II or Split Fiction yet, my personal GOTY has gotta be Ghost of Yotei. An improved sequel in nearly every facet with stunning visuals, exciting combat, and a memorable cast of characters. Loved my time with Mario Kart World and DS2 as well!

Well, since it appears that the Elden Ring DLC is eligible, I could see that bumping off Animal Well. Would def be a big shakeup for the GOTY race if it earns a spot

As great as Tekken 8 and UFO 50 reviewed, it's rare for a fighting game to actually earn a GOTY nom, and UFO 50 being only on PC with a limited number of reviews probably won't help it get the push it needs.

I remember reading about Rocksteady taking a similar approach in Arkham Knight, and the traversal mechanics in Suicide Squad is easily one of my favorite parts from my time in the alpha. Fun movement should beat out quick loading screens every single time

As great as those memories are, having the opportunity to see even some of that in person had been a long time dream of mine. Bummed to see E3 finally gone, but hopeful Keighley and others can continue to step up to fill the void next year and beyond

I regularly took time off work over the years (and even gathered with friends when possible) to soak in every press conference and show floor demo, and stayed up late to catch dev interviews with Giant Bomb or hands on impressions with Easy Allies

Happy to be wrong and see Alan Wake 2 in the GOTY noms along with my original 5. Also great to see it tied with BG3 for the most overall noms. Maybe it can surprise me once again and actually beat Zelda and BG3 for GOTY
