Finished a cape thingie that I started knitting in August.

I learned a few more basic knitting skills (mainly making short rows/turning) but it’s still very beginner even though it looks fancy!

Today I soldered my new #mathart stained glass project. It’s pretty wonky (and looks worse up close) but I still ❤️ it.

You see, all the images from the machine should have symmetry.

But my black curves on Desmos don't have symmetry and I can't produce all the images in the instruction book.

So something is wrong with my approach/my points on Desmos.

Starting a new knitting project! New things I’ve learned:

How to turn the yarn (make “short rows”)

How to make little holes/eyelets by doing a yo k2tog

How to judiciously place stitch markers & mark up my pattern so I can confirm on any step if I have the right amount of stitches between them :)

I'm a pretty slow knitter and only learned a couple years ago and then forgot how to do it. But today I finished a baby blanket for a friend! Only knits&purls!

I am so happy it works! Attached is what I created on my first successful go-around!

Ages ago, I supported a kickstarter with a fancy version of a spirograph called "Hypnograph." I had trouble getting it to work when it arrived, but as I'm planning a math-art class, I broke it out and lo and behold, it works!

I'll put a photo of the final image in a reply post.
