On the defence item, it’s well worth listening to the podcast called ‘The Wargame’ that Sky produced earlier in the year, it is both absolutely terrifying and very informative. No-one else seems to have listened to it, but it’s incredible.

5 years is plenty. 20 is ridiculous, I hope they lower this after the consultation period.

He’s also probably unaware that the government is planning on introducing safe legal routes. I’ve seen very little reporting on this, but it is there.
I doubt Deform etc would be adding such a measure.
I’ll stay undecided on the policy until it’s properly announced. Pre-news is never any help.

Angela Raynor is a diamond. Wish she could have stayed in government, she’s incredible.

Same. When did Starmer or Reeves ever confirm they were going to raise income tax? They have been cagey about tax rises, but not committed to anything as the budget is on the 26/11. The press just ran with ‘income tax rises’ storylines. Again, making themselves look utterly ridiculous.

Oh god, and then they just made everything worse by denying it. That’s literally what is happening here. Someone has learnt how to do politics from The Thick of It! 🤣

Yeah, but there is always a chance someone else can take over as leader of a political party isn’t there. How many workplaces have you worked in and thought ‘ I could run this place better’, there’s always a chance. That doesn’t mean it’s happening now.
Is there any real news to report?

Here's a particularly weird one where an unnamed sends Epstein a text that says "Tommy Robinson. !! good work" then almost exclusively and repeatedly talk about Goebbels and Kristallnacht for a while before pivoting to talking about blood drawing.

Whatever the car, road wear and tear happens, and it costs to fix it. Maybe just do a small vehicle tax on electric ones, as people who have petrol cars will still pay fuel duty, and pay per mile sounds complicated to figure out.
