Beans are your best friends for this. I make minestrone soup with a mix of kidney beans, green beans, zucchini, carrots, a small onion, vegetable broth and Italian seasoning. Add ditalini or another small pasta right at the end when the veggies are nice and tender. It freezes great!

Yeah, that's why a lot of people here use electric bikes to offset the heaviness though now there's talk of putting a speed limit in the bike lanes. A regular Dutch bike works find for me though since I'm rarely biking more than 15 or 20 minutes to get anywhere I want to go in the city.

I live in Amsterdam and have a Dutch bike but I was still curious about considerations beyond getting fabric stuck in gears like tailoring for needing to pedal as opposed to walk and fabric for when you're biking through the constant rain and aren't skilled enough to carry and umbrella in one hand.

That’s fascinating and a shame since Basil Rathbone’s coat looks incredible. It makes me curious how fashion is distinct in the Netherlands and other places that prefer bikes. There are practical things I’ve noticed like rain pants and bike shorts under skirts but I don’t know enough.

She said it was the people at the dog park who were talking about gaming but it would be funnier if she got a dog hyped up about my work.

This is giving me flashbacks to the Spyro review where your intro quoted Thomas Aquinas.

Northwestern had a Vampire LARP when I was there and every year a journalism student would discover it and ask to do a story on how we were such weird weirdos and I feel like that has never stopped. Meanwhile I was making an in-world newspaper for the LARP.

I’m really sorry to hear that. You were great to work with.
