Many of the people on my friends list know Karl Meyer (Crim).
I just received word that he had passed away.
I don't know much as yet save that it was apparently natural causes.
I wanted to make sure that his family knew before I made a public post about it. I'll post more info as I find out.

I guess if I’m going to say anything about pride month, I want to say something about the misfit queers. The ones who are told, whether overtly or just through general observation, that they’re not PROPERLY queer. They don’t fit in with the queer cliques.

Animation is a caricature of life, not a lesser imitation of it. Remaking cartoons in live-action, or giving the characters realistic proportions, hairs, warts, etc., robs them of the stylized exaggeration that made them appealing in the first place.
