I wasn't Biden's biggest fan, but it's obvious he did what he could in a few really bad situations. And he has more than earned a peaceful retirement.

As a cancer survivor myself, I wish him a full recovery. And if you wish him anything less, regardless of your politics, go fuck yourself.

There's something profoundly fucked up in seeing Libeals hoping for Biden's death while Trump's message about it was polite and respectful.

When you have less basic decency than DONALD FUCKING TRUMP you need to take a step back and take a hard look at yourself in the mirror.

Republicans literally tied aid to Israel in packages with aid to Ukraine. And despite this, he still provided as much humanitarian aid to Palestine as possible. He built a port there just for this purpose. But I guess this wasn't good enough so now we hope for cancer to kill him? That's who we are?

I barely remember I have it most of the time lmao. But honestly, it's the algorithm. Never see anything interesting, and my posts get 0 engagement. You have to put in the work to connect with people by hand, and even then you won't see a lot of posts from them. No wonder people are leaving.

It depends on what reader you use. I use Moon+ Reader on my tablet, and that one is EXTREMELY customizable. You can entirely remove the spaces between paragraphs if you want. The downside is that it's paid, but it's included in Play Pass if you have that sub.

Danganronpa is VERY different from AA. I also went into it expecting it to be a wackier version of AA, but the two games have nothing at all in common besides both being about murder mysteries and featuring trials. Not too much overlap between those fanbases for a reason.

Never got into Paradise Killer myself. I think the fact that it takes place in a completely different world that plays by entirely different rules you need to figure out (not just "hey ghosts exist" but different laws of reality) was a big turn-off for me. But I guess it's a pro for other people.

"Okay, it took 6 years for us to get a sequel to Apollo Justice, but that's because they were switching to a new engine on new hardware. And look, it only took 3 years for Dual Destinies to get a sequel! Surely we're getting AA7 even sooner!" - Me being hliariously optimistic nearly a decade ago

Honestly, them capitalizing on their back catalog not just through retro collections (like the spectacular Atari 50) but also through retro revivals (like Yars Rising) was 100% the right call. I hope we'll keep seeing more of that.

Speaking of Ben Affleck commentary tracks - the Daredevil one is AMAZING. The director sounds very proud of what he has achieved, but is also extremely honest about what he was forced to change, remove or add by the studio. He likes the movie, but clearly wishes it could have been so much more.

"Game for gooners" has lost all meaning nowadays. If Twitter was around in 1996 they'd say Tomb Raider was also a game for gooners lmao. Having attractive people in your game doesn't disqualify it from also being peak, as we've seen many times. Stellar Blade also comes to mind.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the developer recording the dialogue on their phone is LITERALLY better than using AI voice gen. At least there's a certain charm to that, even if it doesn't sound great - and sometimes it does sound great. Never heard an AI voice sound great.

I can legit ALWAYS tell with AI, and instantly at that. AI writing? I always think it's bad, but can't always tell it's AI. AI art? Most of the time I can tell, sometimes I can't, but that's relatively rare.

AI voices? ALWAYS. Instantly. And it always breaks immersion. I immediately refund.

Fanatical and Humble Choice routinely put out bundles with great games for $1-3 a pop. And even on console, a year of waiting already shows you discounts between 50% and 80%.

The strange thing is how we've been putting up with $70 releases for the past 5 years.

Even if it is, it's a long, long way off. Final Fantasy IX remake first leaked in 2021, still no sight of in. FFVII Remake was announced in 2015 (after being rumored since 2012) and only came out in 2019. Assuming CT gets a proper remake and not a "pixel remaster" we're not seeing it in the 2020s :/

I mean, that's a good thing, isn't it? It doesn't mean that Xbox players are less committed, just that a lot more are giving the game a shot (and subsequently realizing it's not for them). I'd rather think of all the people who weren't gonna play it at all, then gave it a shot on GP and loved it.

I really like the Steam Deck and do think it's overall a better deal than a Switch (or a Switch 2, lol), but I've had so many fucking technical issues with it so often that I COMPLETELY get why the Switch 2 will outsell it within its first year on the market. Why can't shit just WORK?!?
