PC is an open platform (and the Steam Deck is a PC). That means games are crazy cheap there. It's fine if they're digital. You get what you pay for.
On the other hand, if you pay $80 for a physical game that's actually digital, then that's a shit deal. Seems very simple.

If you're a fan of American McGee's Alice, I can very strongly recommend the Choose Your Own Adventure book "Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland" by Jonathan Green. Very inspired by McGee (while dooing its own thing), and very open in terms of what path you can take. Also, look at this art!

This has got to be the single most evil thing I've seen in my lifetime. I've seen countries like China and Russia "disappear" their citizens, but they don't actually want people to know that they do that. This is the first time I've seen a government actively gloat about it on Twitter. Horrific.

First, wages haven't increased with inflation, while most expenses have. The average person has a lot less spending money than this simple view suggests.
Second, due to more sales, DLC/MTX and subscriptions, gaming is now more profitable than ever even without $80 games. Especially for Nintendo.

AC Shadows is legit one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. Perhaps THE most beautiful one. These are all captured ON BASE PS5. It's insane!

AC Shadows is legit one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. Perhaps THE most beautiful one. These are all captured ON BASE PS5. It's insane!
