City leaders empowered the Atlanta Citizen Review Board in 2020 to investigate all cases of deadly force used by police officers.

In four years, the board hasn’t started even one investigation, the @ajc.com found.

Atlanta police officers held Ricardo Dorado Jr. down on his stomach for 17 minutes before he went into cardiac arrest on Aug. 21, 2022.

The @ajc obtained previously unreleased body camera video of the fatal arrest.
