I’m in the states visiting my daughters and will be cooking an “early” Thanksgiving since we fly out on the 13th…as a Plymouth County, Mass native I like to look at it as a chance to have 2 Thanksgivings, but man will November be flying by.

Anecdotally, my daughter (20y) has said that her college friend group has used church youth groups as a surrogate for social interaction and a way to meet members of the opposite sex more than any religious reason.

I think on the season Weissert has pitched well. But it’s apparent he’s not as “on” as he has been for the last 2 months or so. San Francisco trip seems a turning point. He doesn’t seem as confident in his demeanor either. Unrealistic to expect every bullpen guy to have a season like Chapman though.
