"Shooter!! We've only got 24 cars on the scene, BACKUP BACKUP!!"
"It's on a school campus! Lock down all the schools across the county!"
Of course, they don't even check those buildings before declaring the lockdown over, let along clear them room by room. Is all that really needed? #ATLshooter

This looks very much like what I was thinking of! It must have been the 2011 Japan event that I saw it last. I think this one has been projected in 3D and zoomed from my recollection. Thanks!

Of course, they weren’t “Federal” agents back then, but at least they wore recognizable uniforms!

Buying eyeglasses for the first time. Trying to wrap my head around this sizing system, many "WTH?"'s/min. If a pair fits, the arms aren't over–extended, right? So why is (54*2 + 20)mm not the distance between the hinges? Finding OTC reading glasses that merely _fit_ at CVS was painful!

Lol… that’s right, true believers, now is your chance to correct your insufficiently long Tesla positions! Forget that it has a P/E ratio still over 100, and Hyundai, who even own Boston Dynamics, are at about 10. It can’t possibly be a long–term correction, snap it up!

You do the math on this pharmacy EOB. Pretty sure it's a generic and that "average retail price" is 100% BS

This is one of those things like that account that tweeted every possible outcome for every game before the World Cup and then deleted all the ones that didn’t happen before being noticed and going viral, right?

This AI summary is about where I stand, and I don’t think it’s super controversial. The truth is somewhere between this and “there is no statistically significant correlation at all”. And definitely “other (unpredictable) variables play a larger role”
