Now that’s a 👼 we can all get behind!

This is so true, thank you for helping me see this!

Shoot, why did you have to include really funny in your ask? I was all ready to suggest myself to come on to talk about mathematics in fiction
October 30, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Of course, how could I forget the ole meal Deal
October 19, 2025 at 2:11 AM
What other (almost) rhyming morning combos for you like? Oatmeal and Kim Deal?

And here I was thinking this is confirmation she was a time bomb
August 22, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Ooof, I didn’t need to know that combination

I am an AI skeptic too, and think most of the claims about them are overblown. Though this study’s methodology does not seem great and compares tools that do different things as if they are the same. @aarontay.bsky.social has a good thread exploring some issues from a research librarian perspective

I hate how probable this is. I hate it so much!

Aww, how quaint that feels now that NSF has been explicitly directed to favor research that promotes the “safety” of the US

This is something as a math communicator and librarian I am very curious about. I have seen a push toward more and more people getting linear algebra in their college experience. But I don’t know if it is specifically AI based or because of computational science more holistically

I have actually spun up my own rss server for this exact reason

I’m so sorry, please enjoy this magnificent creature I saw earlier today bsky.app/profile/anna...
An absolutely prosperous unit

At least one of the point of view characters in Charlie Jane Anders’s Unbeatable trilogy match this, except significantly less angry/violent pov. The other point of view characters almost all have anxiety of some sort too
July 10, 2025 at 9:35 PM
Wooo! Well deserved!
June 23, 2025 at 4:32 PM
I feel unsurprised 😵

We have always existed and we will always exist! And I, and so many others, will keep fighting to make that existence more joyful, dynamic, and robust. And remember trans* is a term of power, and fuck anyone who thinks it is a slur
