Sadly no… but I’d love to read Beatty’s Confidential Assessment of him. He certainly helped snatch near-defeat from the jaws if victory!

When I served in her she had just one stabilizer, the other fell out somewhere in Davis Strait. Can’t gave just one so we housed it permanently and lived with the rolling, which was something to experience.
