I've been working with the UK Young Academy THRIVE team on how we can make workplaces more neuro-inclusive.

If no resolution can be reached, and given its an optional scan for research purposes with no direct benefit to the child, I’d cancel the scan. 2/2

Gosh this is tough. I think it would be fine to schedule/ complete the scan on the basis of one parent (this would be the case for routine medical appointments). However if there is dissent there should be some attempt to mediate.. ½
