Some people are gonna be like "at least they can't interact with you though" but there are people that have stalkers, abusers, harassers, etc. that they have blocked and by having public tweets shown the stalkers can still stalk them, and the harassers can make an alt and continue to harass.
Not gonna lie it feels strange that that twitter removed public likes for "privacy concerns" yet decided months later to make it where that when you block someone, they can still see your tweets.

And by making likes private, people can freely like weird shit and you never know what type of crap they liked cause its hidden.
