I told this dandelion “I hear you” This weed, an unwanted thing, has plenty to offer. But it’s just a flower?? That flower makes it desirable while giving it belonging in the broken and cracked space. But this plant ignored the rest of itself. It has no leaves, barely any roots. It’s just a flower.

I am a BIG believer in reformation. When a person does something wrong a strong individual (especially a leader) will acknowledge their fault, take responsibility for their actions, and do better. This is a major and well-deserved burn. Let’s do better, be better, and demand better!
In Oversight today, my colleagues stuck to their usual script: blaming immigrants for all crime & claiming Dem mayors are too soft. Well, I was curious to know if they’ve ever had an immigrant with a criminal record that they could recall. Tune in!

I grew up on Medicaid. My family couldn’t afford healthcare and the grace of our government afforded it for me. Now I am successful, flourishing, and healthy by my own accord as an adult. Don’t cut the chance for wellbeing from our fellow Americans just because they don’t make enough money.
