Jason Bryden’s fab web series Kensington Diner is an instant classic, and a beautiful love letter to Toronto.

Just look at my majestic pal Amy Matysio on that big Paradise Theatre screen! She killed it!

Excellent night out in support of the WEP, @davebidini.bsky.social.

Uh, I wouldn’t lend this current administration my favourite pen, let alone let them have my photo and fingerprints. Not ever.

Okay Toronto, my dearest birthplace: it’s time to rally the flock.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of seeing the magnificent @ronsexsmith.bsky.social in concert, do yourself a favour and buy tickets right now. He’s an absolute stunner.

Incredible night of music, and a fab night out with @christinebuchanan.bsky.social!

TIFF + my fave writer is a winner. Loved Steve directed by Tim Mielants, with Cillian Murphy, Jay Lycurgo & and an amazing cast (Emily Watson!!), written by Max Porter. Watch for it on Netflix in October.

Also, from Air Canada’s website. So, maybe just pay your employees fairly so shit like this doesn’t happen in the first place.

Check out my friend Don at Pebble Beach in the 1924 Hispano-Suiza H6C ‘tulipwood’ Torpedo he restored with his team at RM.

Magnificent!

Enjoying a fam jam long weekend with Pixies on the deck and a mask on because the smoke is baaaaad.

Well so what, because we Canadians have flushed our expectations down the loo re: having a neighbouring country not helmed by a greasy fascist sex pest.

Why would you need food colouring in this? So dumb.

If you want to support queer and trans musicians during pride and always, go to their shows. Buy their merch. Share their gig posters. And show up.

Banging 6 band show in Waterloo last night. Amazing queercore/punk community spirit.

Look at these little cuties! Does anyone know what they are? #BirdSky? They’re very loved up. 💕

Anyway. Nature gave us this magnificent fragrant burst of wonder.

I am absolutely homesick for Toronto this week. As in, the “checking listings” stage of homesickness.

I just heard a huge crash on my roof and I’m now worried that my nemesis, that red trash panda, has found a way in.

A reminder:

Maybe Jesse Watters has crabs or gross sweaty nuts, and can’t sit comfortably with his legs crossed.

Tom Hardy, on the other hand, has no issue. Truly intriguing men don’t need make up stupid shit.

My daughter is the best. She’s a brilliant bassist, and kind and smart and beautiful, and she has an incredible desire to do good in the world. And her friends and bandmates are equally wonderful. Waterloo and surrounding area, please come out!
