I lived in SK for 22 years, so I get it. Nathan Vanderklippe’s excellent long Globe read details this past year’s measles outbreak, which spread via Mennonite communities after travel, then outward. I’m in KW, so we’re surrounded by people who don’t vaccinate. Frustrating.

Also, people from insular religious communities who can travel to Thailand for weddings but can’t be arsed to educated themselves about life-saving medicine.
