Happily married (added due to *those DMs *sigh*)
We are such angels: it's our first Christmas and Dougal has only stolen one bauble (and drunk the Christmas tree water); Suki has only nibbled the tree a few times (apparently trees indoors need this sort of pruning, while trees outside don't). We are definitely on Santa's nice list.

Absolutely the best in every way.

Good work from Ben Jennings of the Guardian.

Just found out that Agatha Christie had a Dandie Dinmont Terrier. Good taste Agatha! Here is our Dandie Dougal - such a good boy! Imagine him next to your feet in front of that fire.

Genuinely, migraine-inducing.

You can’t buy taste.

Anyone else, who was on the anti-Brexit marches, remember how little BBC coverage there was and feel like spitting feathers?

Trump has been in the news far too much recently - my brain did terrible things with that second headline.

Back to reading - puppies are quite the distraction!
It took me far, FAR too long to finish Elektra, another Xmas gift: an excellent book & proper retelling of a Greek myth from a female perspective.
Also The Knight and the Butcherbird - this really is just a novella - a short but beautiful story.

People of BlueSky: we have here a fledgling grey wagtail which had been on the pavement outside a popular pub for some time. It will eat live ants provided by my husband. What else can we do to keep it going until the morning?

A (big) little brother lined up for little Suki today: quite the little Dandie charmer with adorable baby kisses.

It all figures.

But is this actually a problem?

Bit embarrassed to ask but if you are passing by and would like to vote for our little Suki it would be much appreciated - she is such a sweetheart.

Living in these times is simply confusing. Take this message for example, which I have seen posted up, I genuinely cannot work out if it real or a spoof 🤷‍♀️

Spoof = hilarious
Real = disturbing

Time for a Suki post!
