I hate to quibble, but pictures of Allied troops on D-Day are not the best illustration of the idea of Antifa. If we thought many people could recognize pictures of the Lincoln Brigade, those would be better.

Whoa! I guess I never posted this picture here. This is a “cardinal creeper” (goes by several other names, is a hybrid, Ipomoea x multifida). So I’m rectifying that, because they’re cute. But also because Xan and I had a nice surprise walking out the door this morning: a hummingbird!

I really want to hope that the ugly bill will have consequences in midterms. But I’m also still waiting for Lindsey Graham’s prediction to start setting in. So far, I don’t see it.
