And no, I don't think Mali and its capital are going to fall right here right now.
However, there is a giant misconception or maybe a certain stuborness in underestimating what al-Qaeda is capable of doing and the ability of jihadists to rule over a territory

The conflict in Mali and what is happening there is interconnected with what is happening in Niger, and now we can boldly say is also further linked all the way to the crises in Nigeria. It shouldn't have been like this - but it is unfortunately happening.

At the same time, Islamic State notices that the killings of Christians in Nigeria at their hands is still lower than what Christians suffer at the hands of ISCAP and IS Mozambique, and if the Americans now follow the Crusader logic, it's inevitable to clash in Congo and Moz too.

IS carefuly analyses the crisis, assuming the role of the main threat Trump and evangelicals in MAGA constantly ramble about. The org clearly wants to make it the way the Americans want - to simplify the conflict in Nigeria to maximum and cause quagmire.

The true genocide is now in Sudan, el-Fasher and elsewhere. We can't even grasp the true scale of the massacre UAE enabled that happened after the fall of the city.
You can't even imagine what a horrifying tragedy it is to see that from space, it simply doesn't happen ever...

It's even more nonsense, since of we really want to do something there, we would have to rejoin GWOT, since this is coming down to it, in times that I heard the US is all about pivoting towards unknown pivot destination. They don't even have any base to bomb anyone there.

The pressure they apply on the Tuaregs both in media and on the ground is significantly worse than against the al-Qaeda jihadists, with Berber, Arab and Fulani civilians ethnicly cleansed and massacred,
