Presumably, Rabbi Nathan and Baptist Reverend Vickrey both try to follow their religions and to inculcate those values to their congregants and their own children. But they come from the different faith backgrounds of their childhood. By filing this case, Rabbi Nathan and Reverend Vickrey, through the latter's published statements, agree these matters of individual conscience and the soul should be free of government interference and coercion.
