I'll maybe say things about indie games and stuff, idk. Maybe manga and music too, perchance. Maybe I'll just lurk.
It's from the official sanabi discord server. I don't know if they shared it anywhere else

Have you checked out Unbeatable? I'm very casually into rhythm games, so my criterion is probably not the best, but I really enjoyed the demo, and the full game releases in about 2 months.

At the same time, it's so much easier to heal. Not only do you heal 3 masks at once, but you can heal while in the air. You can even use this to dodge low attacks while healing. As long as you don't make a few mistakes in quick succession, I find Silksong to be more forgiving than HK

Because of this, as you progress through these games, they become less complex instead of more. And everyone ends up playing in almost the exact same way. Idk if this is the case with LSA, as I haven't seen endgame combat. But it really feels like it will the case, based on the demo

And another important that I dislike about many modern stylish action games (FFXVI, norse GoW, and possibly LSA) is the over-reliance on powerful skills on a cooldown. They end up feeling so repetitive because by the endgame you're just cycling through these skills...

And I guess that's a big difference between games like LSA or FFXVI, and games like Soulstice or Magenta Horizon: the first two have many moves that are flashy but redundant; the choice of attack doesn't matter much. While the other two have purposeful movesets that push you to master them

That said, I started re-playing Soulstice right after the LSA demo. I had played the full game on release an I really enjoyed it, despite it being a bit clunky. After only 2 missions, I'm having a blast. The combat is so weighty, and every attack has a purpose. It's just satisfying to play

Maybe the full game has more depth with a good skill tree, Idk. But otherwise I'll be passing on this one, which is a shame since I want more stylish action games

Straight up the best Everdark in terms up how much it improved, and it's not even close
