Cajun rice and gravy - beef chuck roast with a dark roux gravy over rice. Looks like slop, tastes amazing. Cajun dirty rice - ultimately rice and meat in a pile - prettified for aesthetic blogging reasons by good lighting, nice enameled cast iron cookware, and fresh parsley. Two boudin sausage loops tied together with twine. One is a dark reddish brown and looks unfortunately quite literally like shit. The other is greyish brown, and the texture of rice and meat can be seen through the casing, reminding the viewer viscerally that sausages often exist in intestinal casing. I assure you, viewer, they are delicious.

Inspired by the post it note doodle which started unintentionally looking vaguely like a heart, I drew the rough outline of an anatomical heart - the idea being to fill in the different regions with those patterned doodle type textures

Woke up feeling like I was going to puke and called out. Currently buffeted by cats.
