Once again I'm begging people not to compare politicians to invertebrates. Inverts are cool and diverse and play an important ecological role. Politicians are the lower order.

This week's daily 5 minute drawings was a very bad choice. These nautilus cups were way too intricate for 5 min and since I don't sketch them out first, you can probably already see what happened, I made the first ones way too big and had no room left by the end.

Trying to not be horrified and angry I left a letter out of the species name and had to squeeze it in, a word that happens to be the same word in my own book title ffs. Today's #Nudivember will haunt me forever.

Forgot to share the last couple weeks of my daily 5 minute drawings again. The first were drawings from Vase of Flowers by Jan Davidsz de Heem. The second were drawings from the Curiosity Cabinet of Ole Worm.

Through A LOT of trial and error, I finally figured out how to print my own zines. Now I shall be UNSTOPPABLE!

I'll get these listed in my webshop tomorrow because I know exactly nobody has been waiting anxiously for me to print these zines that took untold hours to make.
My August arthropod art zine, front, back and inside. The front features a big, glorious bug, the back has text saying how great I am, and the inside shows a sample of two inverts hand drawn in ink, with little written summaries about them. Three copies of my August arthropod art zine which took hours and hours to learn how to format and print myself and will never, ever pay for themselves

Testing out the possibility of using my new fude foundation pens for #Nudivember with a quick watercolor. I think I like it.

And the Platinum carbon ink stayed put under the watercolor, it's the first time I've used it.
