Everyone dealing with chronic illness should receive a living wage and a reliable caregiver.
Most of us are forced into legislative poverty, often relying on abusive or unsafe people to get basic needs met.
If we were provided the safety & security of a caregiver…. We could thrive.

Invoking MLK to whitesplain and wag your finger at someone calling out the racism of the right, specifically the targeting of HBCUs in the wake of the Utah shooting, is not only the height of Caucasity but it's very much not something MLK would've supported.
Racism is seeing this as the murder of a White man and nothing to do with you.
Racism is viewing everything through a racial lens.
A human being was murdered him because someone hated/feared him enough to silence him permanently.
MLK would understand that.
