1976 C&C 24. She’d sort of fallen in my lap in 2003 so she was mine for twenty years! Of course I miss her a great deal but so many life lessons in attachment and letting go.

After urostomy surgery (bladder cancer) I couldn’t manage my old sailboat very well. I donated her to the maritime heritage society. They sold her after a bit of fixing up to fund their valuable work. Here she is being towed down the ‘Strait enroute to the Society’s home base at Cowichan Bay.
