Just finished Seth Rogen's #TheSudio. Mostly amusing with its predictable Larry Davidesque plot lines that I was happy to go along with, but episode 9 was absolutely hilarious!!

Russell Crowe is brilliant in Nuremberg. Other performances were uneven, especially Malek and Slattery. Nuremberg is a message movie that's a bit too on the nose for my tastes, but it's message is one that urgently needs to be heard in this new age of fascism.

Sometimes, when you've read the book, the movie adaptation doesn't measure up. Even when wonders like Fiona Shaw and Vicky Krieps star.

I watched Weapons because of the hype and Julia Garner, who is always interesting to watch. The movie was intriguing before what was really going on was revealed, and then it got silly and the ending... oh boy.

Superb cast and excellent writing that made death and trauma something we can laugh about. Highly recommend.

Really enjoying this absurd, hilarious but touching story about a lonely woman who finds a blob (who she calls Bob) that she grows into a hot guy. #booksky

"A bold and urgent argument by the Prime Minister of Canada and former bank governor on the radical, foundational change that is required if we are to build an economy and society based not on market values but on human values."

Oh, the transformative effect of the ending. I am a huge fan of Tender Is The Flesh. The first half of The Unworthy was difficult. The horrors immense, the writing claustrophobic, but then a ray of light and the book had me.

For those feeling hopeless in the face of at the US government's relentless campaign of terror (and that's most of us non-fascists) I highly recommend:

Funny film w a great performance by Amy Adams.

Don't pay attention to the ratings. Yet another case of men don't like it because they can't handle the message.
