We passed a resolution. We passed a bond. We have funding for seismic improvements.

But the work isn’t over.

We need to keep showing up to make sure our schools are seismically safe for all of Portland’s children.

Our own Neon Brooks on KATU saying what a lot of us are feeling: the risk to our schools in even a moderate seismic event is terrifying. It's our job to get out there and participate to make sure we see this issue addressed in a meaningful way.
