wow, i'm surprised that in all the discussions to remove tokio nobody ever paused to look at the docs

nice, awesome to see efforts pay off!

i don't know, hence the question. seems important but i've only ever had exposure to languages with rust style generics
October 29, 2025 at 10:51 PM
but you need to distinguish between compile time and runtime parameters, no?
October 29, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Curious if anyone here has an idea of how that would work

I have user embeddings and content embeddings, hypothetically I should be able to use some nearest neighbor search like ANN, HNSW to find similar users or content vectors, right?

& ironically, they invented it with web dev inspired apis. the curse of html lives on

this looks cool, I ended up dropping wezterm due to some issues with text handling. I'm curious how rio stacks up against ghostty

nice, i found this because I wanted an equivalent to swift guard statements & I was pleasantly surprised
October 18, 2025 at 6:35 PM

your company is irrelevant if even a tiny percentage of other companies are interested. Hoping for sponsorship system has never been sustainable, companies will profit billions off of oss blood sweat and tears without batting an eye

interesting, where does the substructural type concept come from?

unsupervised AI coding is wildly verbose, it will almost always choose to bolt something on over taking a step back and fixing the roots of issues.

Oh yeah, forcing someone to define an object seems a bit much. Lots of the decisions I've made for this crate are specifically to allow people to iterate quickly with minimal code changes, as we often need to when building UI

nice article!

I have a similar project here, so Im particularly interested in what choices you make along the way.

I'm working on the next iteration of my crate on this branch github.com/cyypherus/ba...

bad comparison but it's all good, i primarily wanted you to read the transcript instead of the headline because the transcript doesn't concern me at all. the headline makes it seem as if we're investing *everything* into this unlikely possibility and nothing else which is innacurate

"We're initiating studies to look at the correlation and the potential connection between over-medicating our kids and this violence and these other possible co-founders as well."

"There could be connections with video games, with social media. There are a number of things, and we are looking at that at NIH. So we are doing studies now."

Here's the transcript if you'd like to *not* base your opinions on clickbait headlines

"There are many, many things that happened in the 1990s that could explain these. One is the dependence on psychiatric drugs, which is in our country, is unlike any other country in the world."
