We also wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for your incredible support! Our doors can remain open to help those in need because of this community's efforts, and we cannot express our heartfelt gratitude enough.

For TDOR this year it falls on the other 99.5% to make sure transgender voices are heard & respected because Trans Rights are Human Rights. The trans lives we have lost will neither be in vain nor forgotten as we work together towards a future where trans people are free to exist in peace & freedom.

Transgender people only account for 0.5% of the *total* population in the United States, & yet this year alone over 700 anti-trans bills have been introduced to state legislations. This stunning course of action only further fuels the hate and violence directed at this small, marginalized community.

Please join us in offering Jeanne a hearty welcome into our community! Her experience in strategic leadership, program development, and community collaboration will be instrumental in guiding Safe Harbor into its next chapter.

Jeanne will lead Safe Harbor’s continued efforts to strengthen programs, expand community partnerships, and advance its mission of providing safety, support, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

We wish her nothing but the best success on her future as she explores new career opportunities. The halls of Safe Harbor will forever miss her stabilizing presence and infectious laugh.
