Here’s one that’s not in the primer:
The Chimchar player is in an excellent position to take their first Safari Action to set-up the catch on Vulpix with a first turn Battle Action, second turn Catch Action. 20 damage would yield a 1/3 chance to catch by rolling 5 or 6 on a d6 from the Pokeball.

#PokemonTCG doesn’t have a popular multiplayer format.

I like games that do these things. I played in two different years-long D&D campaigns that were base-building focused. Loved Overlord, a classic Xbox game of control the bad guys and dominate the land.
Sounds like fun to me, which is common goal of any game design.

I am working towards making space on this platform for me to enjoy Pokemon on my terms. PSA isn’t for me and I’m not attracted to standard play.

(Heart) Gold is my favorite to revisit.
Emerald and Platinum are peak classic experience, better be one on the docket for Switch 2 remaster.
Areceus feels like the right direction.
⚔️ & 🛡️ were pretty fun and worth the time. Scarlet/Violet has FUECOCO

I love the berry cards. They are very fun and, no surprise, very flavorful to build with.
But why no Rindo Berry #PokémonTCG? We can give Rillaboom an Occa Berry and Skeledirge gets a Passho Berry, but Intelleon gets nothing? We even got Seed, Charcoal, and Drops, sorta.
I might proxy-craft it.
