I’m not even feeling remotely burnt out watching so many of these in short succession, and it’s been something nice for gf and I to enjoy together during what’s felt like a shitty season for both of us.

excited to start the Heisei era after we finish these last two and take a little break.

Godzilla vs Megalon. this was a fun one! no real deep thoughts to be had, just really enjoyed it. the limited human plot + the fight matchups made this one a blast.

I’m getting better at noticing the reused footage though, but it’s not that distracting to me.

two more Showa era films to go!

Godzilla vs Gigan, damn. didn’t expect it to go as hard in the paint as it did at points. Godzilla and Anguirus took an absolute beating for a bit.

loved it as a less brains, more punchy companion piece to Hedorah. excellent film!

next up… Godzilla vs Megalon!
