- you can find virtually any book online on LibGen/Anna's Archive and easily transfer over to your Kobo (so total free choice over what you want to read)
- having a device for just reading books makes the experience more enjoyable (so no distractions like with a phone)

hmm I see, I was thinking more along the line of secrets you don't want to push to a repo

although I suppose if you had enough of them you then you def want something with more structure like json

what's the better alternative to env files? (genuinely asking)

as long as you have some documentation about what's actually supposed to go in then, env files seem fine to me (fastest way to get a new project going!)

(ofc if we're talking about env files for CI/CD then I absolutely agree lol)

50? Try over 100.

unfortunately I'm looking for something that's 1) free, 2) (ideally) open source, and 3) isn't restricted to iOS 😭

this is the way

or use calibre and a cable to transfer your books so you don't even have to turn wifi on
April 5, 2025 at 4:30 AM
haha my bad mate, I guess I forgot to add the /s

I'm obsessed with opening as many tabs as I can on the stuff I'm interested in, bit of a habit that's hard to beat

it's the completely random back-and-forth between cold and not-cold that really makes april so irritating for me
