just finished a showing of Sinners... definitely one of my top movies of the year.
a solid 7/10, highly recommend
starts off a little slow, but that second act has some *incredible* build-up.
it ends alright, but the movie definitely peaks when it's 3/4 through its runtime.

this is one of the best advertisements for a show that I've ever seen

Holy the custom feeds in @bsky.app blow me away every time (and I'm always finding new ones I'm interested in!)
It's like someone took the idea of subreddits and baked it into Twitter (without the algorithmic feed pushing rando stuff you're just not interested in).
This is the future.

Oh my god I have just learned that the "standalone" spy thrillers by Mick Herron actually connect back to the Slough House universe.
I literally just finished the latest book in the series and started reading something different.

Just finished binge-reading a fun, witty spy series (Slough House). Now I've started the dystopian horror that is Tender Is the Flesh, because apparently I like my genre shifts to feel like falling down an elevator shaft.
