A primrose to remember my friend and fellow border collie, Ellie Mae, who went to the 🌈 last week. We were the same age, 16, and herded sheep and goats together in our youth. Sending love to all who are missing their loved companions. 🐾Sadie

I lost Gracie to colic last October. She was spirited but kind and gentle, and we had many adventures. Some mornings when I step out onto the porch in the early dusky light before sunrise I could swear I still see her looking at me from her corral. ❤️love you, Gracie

Sitting on the porch in the dark this morning, drinking coffee, and a huge red light appeared in the sky to the south. It got bigger and bigger. Meteor?? A plane dumping fuel?? Turns out it was a SpaceX rocket launch from Vandenberg!! Wow. I took a video in case it was an alien ship.
