11% of the vote in Caerphilly went to Labour. The people here must now know that Labour cannot win here. Had they voted for Plaid, they could have ensured a 58% victory but I’m sure Plaid will be happy all the same.

1500 miles along and around the NE coast of Canada, I can truly say the people are the warmest, friendliest and most cheerful I have ever met. They can cook a bit too! But where are the birds and beasts? Wrong time of year maybe? Here’s a few that I did see and snap. Hope you like them.

Wandering around the Halifax City Garden and was blown away by the very impressive chrysanthemum bed. Here’s one they call Ketchup and Mustard. I wonder why? It was all of 150mm (6inches) across.

I went to my local hospital yesterday. I worked there 50 years ago. It was in a dreadful state then but it seems to have got a lot lot worse. This is how they repair and don’t repair water leaks. If this is what we see, what about what we don’t see! Little wonder staff are leaving the NHS.
