On Dec. 29, 1890, the US 7th Cavalry massacred more than 300 Lakota people at #WoundedKnee on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. More than half of them were women & children.
(We're not going to distress their descendants by posting photos of relatives' bodies lying frozen in the snow.)
