Just wondering, but am I correct in the feeling that the Numericist's Transness was intentionally part of the themes and feelings the story wanted to convey?
Or was it just "she can just be trans. there doesn't need to be a story reason for it" (which, ftr, 100% valid).

If you were to ask me, I'd say the extermination will come before the civil war does. It will take people realizing they will die either way before they are willing to die fighting.

Like, there's definitely handful of people who are willing to shoot at ICE agents and risk dying for it. I just don't think it's nearly enough for a civil war.

For there to be a civil war people -- a LOT of people -- need to be willing to die for it. I just don't think that's true, and I don't really think that will change.
