But on a more serious note - I'm less and less convinced that human cognition is a good, useful or beneficial benchmark to evaluate the performance and capacity of a machine intelligence model.

It's funny how different PhD publications can be. In Switzerland, it was enough for me to deliver a couple of printed versions to university, and publish online.
At my new university in Sweden, the defendant arrives for the defence with a full box of printed versions of their work to spread them.

Heute vor 479 Jahren - Der Lohn der bösen Tat ist der Spruch des Gerichts ⚖️ Der Chirurg mit der schnellen Klinge mag zum Teufel gehen (er soll froh sein, dass man ihn nicht verbrannt hat wie eine Hexe)

Ohnehin bin ich in Sachen #Demokratie der Meinung, dass wir uns auf einem wirklich schädlichen Pfad befinden. Und das schon seit vielen Jahren.
Denn wir betreiben schon lange keine positive, konstruktive Demokratie mehr. Sondern eine negative. #Politik

We did a full roadtrip from #Basel in #Switzerland to #Luleå in #Sweden - passing through Germany and Denmark. But I especially loved the landscape in Sweden and how it changes over time. While Malmö and Stockholm are super green, Luleå is in the subarctic and the trees are in darker tones.
I have reached my final destination. For now. #Luleå, capital of the Norrbotten County in Northern #Sweden. The city itself is rather small - only 50.000 citizens, which is roughly one quarter of #Basel. But it has a nice technical university, the LTU - Luleå Techniska Universitet.

By the way, if you look close enough, you can see that the crest of the canton, the Baselstab, hasn't been fully standardised yet when it was decorated. It shows in two different directions. #Switzerland
