My great grandmother Mae Mercer (blues singer & actress) is really in the NAAMHC w/ James Baldwin & Hazel Scott supporting the March on Washington from Paris in ‘63 and I’m always so amazed at how colorful her life was, even in black and white.

I feel like videogames actually do provide a pretty accurate representation of real life right now because a lot of videogames are like “THE WORLD IS ENDING” and then you just collect herbs and pretend nothing is wrong

I can't wait to be a therapist so I can help the black community heal from the trauma we were never allowed to voice and feel due to societal standards. I am a huge advocate for mental health. Especially with Black men who are forced to be perpetually 'strong'. Safe spaces are for everyone.
