cars are more reliable than they used to be, which allows people to drive them longer and for used vehicles to retain their value with more mileage. this has nothing to do with the chart

this is literally not true

I like my Keychron M6! It’s got the nice g502-style shape but less capital G Gamer aesthetics and it’s quite inexpensive for a wireless mouse

i don't really think i was making a value judgment here at all, if anything i was thinking the opposite of what you're implying

i don't disagree with your overall point but there's a lot of distance between "multi decade career employees are resistant to change" and "the FTC is a right wing deep state"

November 5, 2025 at 5:32 PM
it has 15k reviews on steam already so i'm gonna go with yes on the business front
November 5, 2025 at 5:20 PM

I think the problem people are correctly identifying is that this DID happen in other sectors of the economy in the last couple of years and it turned out people were not in fact willing to make that sacrifice, including on the left

I agree, I think people are getting the order of operations wrong here. If conditions for developers improve and costs increase commensurately I’m more than fine with that, but I’m not down to just pay more straight up
