Can we please stop using the word "humans" as a stand-in for "people"? It's already understood what mammal species you are referring to by using "people" so it's a weird thing to bring up in conversation.
You sound like you must be a talking animal.

If you ever suspect anyone of not being a sincere person, go see how cringey their Linkedin comments are and that should tell you something.

no, no, never ever assume there's any coordination. The tech industry is full of herd animals - everybody is copying everybody else without really thinking about it. It's FOMO mixed with complete disconnection from value creation at the executive/VP level and a few levels below that too

Aggregate tropes and elements in film can always be evaluated as a reflection of anxieties of the time (see the road as an element evolve alongside the automotive industry, for instance) so it's interesting to see more work like Silo, Severance, and others as clear anxieties about bureaucracy.

We have got to stop acting like everybody is getting information in some sort of pure form and then making illogical decisions. Unrestrained algorithms and growth hacking are the largest scale ecological disaster in history and we are finally beginning to pay for it.
One lesson of the Information Age is that information does not solve the problem of human irrationality.
It's disheartening that in an age where knowledge has never been more accessible - the United States is about to be governed by an administration so primitive and ignorant as to believe that tariffs are good and that vaccines are bad.

Just sharing a pic of the guy who came through the drive-thru of my mom's work. (He ordered whipped cream in a cup for the dog.)
