Dad, I tripped and dropped the eggs. Panel 2 This moment is making August remember a similar event when he was younger. He has a memory of tripping and dropping eggs. Gustopher: I'm sorry. Panel 3 August remembers the reaction from adults who were there in the moment and how it made him feel. He remembers the immediate guilt and inability to articulate an apology. Panel 1 There is a table with a variety of comforting objects on top of it, as well as a cat named Mewbert whose mind is currently calculating to find the best moment to do something devious. August: I have a new book. A mocha with whipped cream. My cat. Panel 2 It is a dark and rainy night and August is seen preparing to relax. But he can't shake a terrible feeling of dread that's haunting him at this moment. August: And Gustopher is playing his new game. I can't relax. It feels like something bad will happen. There is a clunk sound towards the table. Panel 3 Back to the table, the mocha has been knocked over and its contents are now being soaked into the pages of the book. Mewbert sits there with whipped cream and sugary coffee all over her face. She stares forward unblinkingly. She will she is innocent because deep down inside she truly believes that she has done nothing wrong. Panel 4 August is satisfied that things have gone wrong. Now he can enjoy this stormy night in peace. Gustopher is holding up a hand held game system. The words "ERROR! ALL IS WRONG" have flashed across the screen. August: That's better. Gustopher: DAD! My game stopped working!

Panel 3 Polly has had enough of this nonsense. Reaching deep down in her soul, she comes up with a devastating name to call Olivia in order to banish her from this realm. Polly: Stop bothering us, fart breath. Olivia: WHAHAHA! Olivia exits. But the deed is done. The seeds of discord have been sown. Panel 4 Gwen: I think you and Olivia are pretty great. Polly: Huh? What did she say to you? Gwen: Can't tell, it's a secret.
