I am convinced the coverup of Epstein has more to do with financial crimes than sexual ones. As bad as the child abuse certainly was, the ultra wealthy don’t care about that as much as they care about their money. Epstein was a shady tax guy, the scandal they’re terrified of would hurt their wallet.

Yes, if people were eating less junk food because we were addressing food deserts, that would be fantastic. If people are eating less in general and just going hungry because they can’t afford anything else, that’s not a solution to anything. It’s just making more problems.

Not just gamble, when Wall Street holds everyone’s retirement, the government will have a vested interest in not allowing the stock market to fall. Every decision that is “anti business” will be a direct assault on your retirement. It was the goal of 401Ks, this is that on steroids.
