That’s actually a really interesting idea and I’d love to see Hudson and Stow work together more to add services for residents while reducing costs. The facility does need a lot of updating, but I’m sure it could be turned into a nice community asset.

So you’re using three vehicles in total - Crew Dragon between Earth and LEO, Starship between LEO and lunar orbit, HLS between lunar orbit and lunar surface. This would be the same number of vehicles as the current plan - Orion, Gateway and HLS.

Starship flies crew to the Moon. Starships docks in lunar orbit with HLS Starship and transfers crew that’s going to surface. After surface mission is over, repeat the process in reverse. Does this work? Does using Dragon for crew launch and return instead of a crew rated Starship seem feasible?

It’s definitely not an insult. I think it’s pretty cool that Neanderthals have continued on in most of us with European ancestry, even if the species no longer exists.
