I love this game so much, but it's so niche I get it. It went a very particular direction and it did it pretty well, but that direction is hard to follow at times. (That direction is Sad with a very soft focus on side character development.)

I agree completely. I mean he's not amazing, but they're trying to follow Geralt, Ciri and Yen all at once, and not doing any of it very well.

with no real story being developed for those characters. Time felt wasted. 4 out of 8 episodes felt like they were used properly. Most of the actors were great, too. It wasn't the worst show ever, but...I can't see myself watching another season.

The cooking episode was great to get to know some characters, but with only 8 episodes and 3 main characters you are trying to follow, the story didn't get progressed. Another episode we sit in a swamp to learn "Gerald is a father". The FINAL EPISODE OF THE SEASON was half spent on a raft.

I haven't really touched the main story much, but Atsu has asked dozens of people for information (some information repeating) and I can see that the game is going to let me do this in my own order like a Mega Man game. Linear stories aren't always bad. Still having fun, but the story isn't why.

As someone that works in the food industry in King County, I can also say that the quality of the inspections vary WILDLY. An "Excellent" with a big smiley face doesn't mean anything if the inspector just came in and sat down with their laptop and asked two questions and then left.

You can get experience a lot in a little amount of time, or experience little in a great amount of time. Age just gives you time to reflect. It contributes. It doesn't define.

Loved this! and 2025 has been the year of the smaller studio for me for sure. Team Cherry, Sandfall Interactive, Supergiant Games tomorrow, all putting out games 50 dollars or under that are absolute BANGERS.

Not many games have a character that has a move where EVERY CHARACTER ON THE ROSTER WILL SHOUT YOUR NAME when you use your self-damaging super move. Granblue scratched my Monster Hunter itch for a good long while.
